The Gelato Bar, nestled in the heart of Mumbai, was born in 2023 from Chef Rachi's inspiration during her trip to Italy. Fueled by a passion for authentic Italian gelato, Chef Rachi sourced local ingredients to bring the warmth and variety of Italy to the people of Mumbai.
We took a scoop of inspiration from gelato’s creamy swirls and turned them into playful patterns.
Designed with a thick, creamy type to represent the texture of our gelato, each letter is playful and full of joy. The strokes surrounding the type reflect the smooth motion of scooping, adding a whimsical element to the visual identity.
